2. What do I do if I am absent from school for more than 3 days?
Write a letter to the principal stating the nature of the absence, the days you will be absent and the teachers from whom you are requesting homework. Parents are requested to submit a letter at least one week before the student’s absence.
Students are placed according to their educational needs by Administrators and the Counselors as determined by past academic achievement, teacher recommendations, and group test scores (PSSA, MAT, OLSAT etc.).

How do I request a transcript?
Contact the grade level Guidance Counselor for a ‘Transcript/Records release form’. Complete the form and return it to your child’s Guidance Counselor.

My child is having academic difficulties, what can we
do?
a.) Contact your child’s teacher to discuss the situation.
b.) Come in to meet with the teacher and counselor in order to develop strategies to help assist them in the classroom.
c.) Consult with your child’s Guidance Counselor to help identify other support services available through the district.
