Concert Attire
Girls - dresses, skirts and blouses, dressy pants outfits  
Boys - nice pants (no blue jeans), white collared shirt and tie, dress shoes (prefer no sneakers to be worn)
 
 
Elementary School Performances 
7th and 8th Grade Select Chorus members perform at the Wissahickon Elementary Schools in the Spring Performances at the Elementary Schools take place during the school day.  Chorus members must be dressed in concert attire for all performances.
 
Community Performances 
7th and 8th Grade Select Chorus members are often invited to participate in community events. 7th and 8th Grade Select Chorus members perform for the local nursing and retirement homes during the month of December.
 
School Assemblies
During the school year choruses receive an opportunity to perform at a W.M.S. school assembly. 
 

Dorney Park

At the end of the school year, 7th & 8th grade chorus members take a trip to Dorney Park.  The chorus does not perform at Dorney Park  The trip is a day of fun and relaxation for all chorus members.   Only students who have fulfilled all chorus obligations and criteria will qualify for the Dorney Park trip.  Parents are invited to chaperone the Dorney Park trip.  Permission slips are distributed during the month of February.
