Parent Drop Off and Pick Up Reminders:

 

Parents/Guardians:

 

Please follow the drop off and pick up procedures as to ensure student, staff and your safety!

 

AM DROP OFF:

 

  1. Please Drop off your child/ren at the designated drop off areas as signified by the signs along Houston Road. 
    1. If you are making a left hand turn onto Houston Road, Please drop off your child/ren on the High School side.  Your child will then be crossed over to the Middle School by the crossing guard.
    2. If you are coming toward the Middle School from Knights Road area, please drop your child/ren off at the designated drop off area along the Baseball fields on the Middle School side of Houston Road.

 

  1. Cars are not permitted to enter any parking lot (front of school, or water tower side) as we encounter dangerous situations as a result!

 

 

PM PICK UP:

 

  1. Students are to go home on their own designated bus.  Under no circumstances are students to ride a different bus, or arrange for their own alternative transportation.
  2. Students who need alternative transportation because of unusual circumstances (i.e. family emergency, no one home to receive small children) need to notify in writing via fax or note a day in advance -  or fax if emergency circumstance dictates immediacy (215-619-8111). 
  3. Students who walk to meet an elder sibling in the high school parking lot need to also send a note to the Middle School Assistant Principal (Mr. Malone) in order for the Middle School to maintain accurate records of students who need to cross over.  We have encountered in years past students who purposely miss the bus in the Middle School lot to retrieve it in the High School.  We have also encountered Middle School students loitering in the High School building and parking lots! 

 

Please remember that these procedures are in place because of the dangerous situations that arise due to the immense traffic flow between the Middle School and the High School.
